Therabands/Loops (Variety of Strengths)

There are many out there, but here are a few examples:

Allvodes Resistance Set of Bands

Full Set of Loops

Theraband Resistance Band Set

Muscle/Myofascial Release

We suggest you have at least one of these in your equipment bag:

(Please ask one of our instructors how to use these before you attempt to roll out your muscles on your own)

Foam Roller

This is a great starter roller. We suggest getting at least 18 inches.

Ball Roller (i.e. Tennis Ball, Lacrosse Ball)

We like this set, but a tennis or lacrosse ball will also work.

Bar Roller

This is great for an on-the-go dancer or runner!

Home Studio Equipment

These are not necessary, but if you are curious this is what we would recommend:

Ballet Barre

Portable Ballet Barre

A chair or countertop works great, too!

Marley

Not at all required, but this is really nice if you are working on more complex skills at home.

Strength Training

Again, there are many options out there. These are just a few suggestions:

Selection of Weights

Look for something that fits your current level of fitness, with some lighter weights for toning and some heavier weights for lifting and floor work.

Ankle Weights

1-2 lbs is great for strengthening legs while working technical skills.

Foam Balance Pad

These are great for working on ankle stability!

Bosu Ball

This is an advanced balance tool!

Triple Band

These are great for upper body work.

Medicine BallĀ

A great tool for practicing lifts and catches. Look for a weight that matches your current level of fitness.
